“Daddy, let’s talk about!” Our children would say each night before we’d pray. “Okay,” I responded, wanting to forever encourage open family conversation. “What do you want to talk about?” With raised hands and eyebrows they would exclaim, “What we did today!” This song brings back so many memories of our time together. Perhaps our longings for our children are not all that different from our Heavenly Fathers longing for us.
